The Beatles were more than a great rock band. For the better part of the 1960s, America, Great Britain, and even the world was under Beatles rule! They dominated the music scene and created a culture all their own. The British Invasion swept the world. Young men imitated them. Young women screamed and fainted and a new term, Beatlemania, was coined to describe the madness of it all. Known as “The Fab Four”, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr had a chemistry and charisma that rocked the world. !
